Meet Your Nutrition Coaches
Coach Rebecca has been involved since high school in competitive swimming, marathon running, and sprint triathlons until finally falling in love with CrossFit; its methodology, nutrition principles and culture. She actively became a personal trainer back in 2014 at a private personal training studio where she led small group ladies bootcamps, created nutrition seminars, cooking demos and 1:1 personal training sessions. Intrigued by CrossFit in 2016, she tiptoed through the doors of CFTS and never looked back. She not only loved the coaching style, but the education and attention that the members would get to make sure they were exercising safely. She also has a passion for nutrition and has developed programs (before CFTS) to teach others how the food industry manipulates us and how food is medicine. After seeing firsthand all the radical improvements to so many people’s health markers, she knew she wanted to do even more to make an impact. So, it was a natural fit after participating in her first Fat Loss Fitness Challenge at CFTS, that she started coaching her own small groups. Coach Steve noticed her passion and eventually handed the leading and organizing of all of the challenges up to her. She humbly accepted the position! She loves nothing better than to see members come in and, over time, make complete transformations – body, mind & spirit. When you work with her you’ll find that she is all heart and soul for helping you reach your goals.
Hey guys, I’m Sheila, one of your challenge coaches. I am excited and passionate about helping you achieve your health and fitness goals. Our challenge is amazing as it goes well beyond 21 days. We help teach you how to sustain a healthier lifestyle and be in control of your food choices.
I joined Better Than Yesterday Bootcamp in November 2016 when my daughter was just 8 mos old. I had decided enough was enough and I hated the way I felt and did not like the reflection in the mirror. I heard about the January challenge and a few of the gym friends I made were participating, so I decided that it was time. January 2017 I did my first 6 week challenge, lost 18 lbs and 7” off my waist, and from there I was hooked. I couldn’t believe how in just a short time, changing what I ate, and my lifestyle, that I could change my body that drastically. From there I became determined to move forward. I participated in 3 more 6 week challenges over the years and slowly started to reshape my body, mind, and soul. I was made more aware of nutrition not only for myself but for my family. I became so passionate to help others feel how amazing I felt that I completely changed careers, shut down my own business of 8 years, and decided to focus on helping others gain control of their health. I joined co-coach Rebecca on our first 3 week challenge in summer of 2020 and I loved every bit of it.
We live the same lifestyle we teach, we are extremely passionate about seeing others success, and we want to help you achieve your goals. We look forward to working with each of you on challenges to come. It will be the best investment you can ever make!
